What we collect
CozyWallet stores the account details you provide during registration, along with the budgets, accounts, categories, transactions, and planned transactions you create inside the app.
We also keep operational data needed to run the service, such as authentication session details, audit-friendly membership information, and basic technical logs that help us keep the app reliable.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the core CozyWallet experience: authenticating your account, loading the correct budgets, enforcing budget member permissions, and showing the financial activity that belongs to your household workspace.
Data is processed to support product reliability, security checks, and service improvements, but it is not intended to be shared across unrelated budgets or exposed to other households.
Sharing and access
Budget data is visible only to the members invited into that budget, according to the role-based permissions assigned to them. We design the product around tenant boundaries so one household cannot access another household's data through normal product use.
We may rely on service providers that help us host the application and database, but they only receive the access needed to operate the service on our behalf.
Retention and contact
We retain information for as long as your account or budget data is needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
If you have privacy questions or need help with your data, contact the CozyWallet team through the support channel provided with the product or repository.
